#UniversalPlate Workshop

TThe #UniversalPlate campaign is a collaborative action to raise our voices for the right to food for all on World Food Day. The campaign unites chefs, academics, farmers, corporations, municipalities, and individuals to cook and share meals with those in need in our local communities. Between October 12th to 19th, people worldwide will join the movement to show the world the power of cooking and sharing a meal as an act of service and care. The recipe for a #UniversalPlate meal is simple: 1) Made with locally sourced ingredients 2) Nutritionally balanced 3) Served free of charge. Whether you represent a community-based organization, university, restaurant, or company or wish to participate as an individual, there are many ways to take part. Join the 2023 #UniversalPlate and show the world what we can do when we come together for collective action! In preparation for the campaign, two workshops are scheduled. These workshops offer a collaborative space for past and new #UniversalPlate participants to come together, plan, share best practices, and exchange ideas for the campaign. Additionally, we'll share campaign materials to ensure everyone is equipped for a successful #UniversalPlate campaign.
