Botildenborg organizes the first Nordic Social Gastronomy Summit

On October 23rd and 24th, the first Social Gastronomy Summit in a nordic country will take place in Sweden. The gathering will be organized by the Botildenborg innovation center and focus on Scandinavian guests and projects.

On the event’s schedule, there is a learning journey with visits to three “food and farming for a sustainable society” projects, as well as workshops, talks and culinary sessions to debate strategies for the future of the Social Gastronomy Movement. All transport at the summit will be by bike.

The Botildenborg sustainable innovation center manages the nordic Social Gastronomy community. They are based in Malmo, Sweden, an area with residents from over 150 nationalities, the perfect place for cultural connections and integration. The project therefore works across various fronts such as placing immigrants in the workforce, developing urban gardens and early childhood education on sustainability.
