The Migrant Kitchen is a social impact for-profit catering compant that hires migrant chefs to cook and deliver lunchtime meals to companies in New York City. Its menus are inspired by flavors from Syria, Mexico, India, and the Southwest. The Migrant Kitchen employs a theory of gastrodiplomacy, bringing flavors and cultures from all over the world together to bring awareness to the culinary world while empowering immigrants and refugees.

In the face of COVID-19, the Migrant Kitchen has successfully created the largest people-to-people disaster relief operation in New York City, where migrants are helping feed the families of those impacted by the disease, including healthcare workers. The process was launched via grassroots funding and community organizing to hire, deploy, and execute emergency feeding on mass scale. Their current output is 1,500 meals per day, and your contribution will help them reach their goal of 5,000 meals per day.
