The General Assembly is an open invitation to all of our members to co-create and impact the direction of the Social Gastronomy Movement. It serves as a check-in between all of us and on current and future possibilities for SGM.

The community is encouraged to give feedback, take the lead and bring their ideas for future initiatives, or participate in the development process of the projects run by the backbone team. Some members may also just want to come and listen in to learn about the past present and future of SGM.

With this two-hour online meeting, we will enhance SGM’s mission while building trust, community, and belonging.

Where are we as a movement?

2020 was a year of challenges, transformation, resilience, and innovation for the Social Gastronomy Movement. In all corners of the world, our members demonstrated immense strength in the face of uncertainty and global crisis. Together, we became stronger and more driven to build a healthy planet and inclusive society, using food as our tool.
