Swiss Hub cooks for community at FOGO's Open House in Zurich
Saturday, June 22nd, was the official opening of FOGO: a living space for innovative initiatives for refugees and young adults.
From catering to small businesses and cultural and educational initiatives, it's in this newly developed district in Zurich that the SGM Swiss Hub, Cuisine Sans Frontières (CSF), is set. The organization cooked delicious meals for the diverse community of refugees, students living on the spot, as well as colleagues and curious visitors.
Andi Handke, a founding member of Cuisine Sans Frontières, prepared a beautiful vegetarian pot of 8 kinds of repurposed vegetables, chickpeas, grilled artichokes and spinach, all in homemade pita bread.
More than 300 dishes were served and smiles were multiplied!
